Phase 4: Exit & Encourage

PHASE 4 EXISTS TO

Support the church’s desire to authentically serve its congregation and community

Empower the local church to take the reins of evangelism and discipleship, intentionally working them into the culture

Provide continued resources and encouragement to the church as it trains disciple-makers

Celebrate successes and correct mistakes made during Phases 1-3

If, by Phase 4, Always Going has done its job, the local church should have a tailor-made strategy to train students within its own context and culture to bring the gospel message to their peers. It should also have dedicated church members who are qualified and trained to implement this strategy consistently and repeatedly with anyone who is ready to take their next step into evangelism and disciple-making.

A partnership with Always Going is temporary but is designed to produce lasting change. In Phase 4, the partnership transitions from hands-on to hands-off, but this does not mean it is over. Continued training, tweaking, and encouragement are key to sustained success.
